We Are ... CubicArt was founded
by Dwayne Gavel in 1998. Dwayne graduated from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute (Toronto) in 1984 with a Bachelor
of Technology Degree in Industrial Engineering. Crucial manufacturing based experience was accrued
over the next 10 years, with heavy emphasis on IE related activities such as plant layout, cost estimating, and process planning
/ improvement. Most of this time was spent with small to medium sized firms competing in the contract precision
metal fabricating sector. A couple of years were also spent optimizing processes and designs at a custom forging / machining
shop. In 1994 Dwayne returned to the sheet metal industry as product development manager for a medium sized supplier
of electronic packaging systems. For almost 12 years we have been drawing from this extensive
manufacturing based background, offering high-quality 3D CAD design services on a contract basis. We work with a varied
cross section of clients, whose products span several market sectors.
